I’m 21 and have some very unsightly spider veins around my knee and thighs. Is there a way I can treat them at home without a doctor’s exhorbitant fees or painful needles? Thanks!

I don’t think so. I have heard that Vitamin E helps keep new ones from forming, though, so you might shell out 6 bucks for some Vitamin E, because if you have them now then you will no doubt get more later.
You may be able to make them less obvious by using a sunless tanner. It won’t hide them completely, but they won’t stand out quite as much.
I hope this helps a little.
No. I have them too. There’s no way to cover them without being obvious (like make-up or something…it would show). I just wear capri length pants in the summer and someday hope to get Sclerotherapy. I’ve heard it’s really not that painful, but you will have a lot of bruising so you should wait until the winter to do the procedure.
I had scleratherapy done on my legs and it’s probably the best $500 I’ve ever spent. Yes, it hurts but only for a moment, but the benefits far outweigh the costs! Now I can wear shorts again without a little kid coming up to me and saying "Why did you draw those purple lines on your legs?" as was actually said to me once! If you can afford it, get it done! A cosmetic surgeon OR a dermatologist can do it and sometimes insurance will pay for part of it, if you have any vericose veins.
