I have a couple of tiny spider veins on my face. They bother me, mostly because they are from drinking (and vomiting). I don’t drink like I used to and it’s time to get rid of them.
I know that I will probably have to get an injection to get rid of them, but does anyone out there know what that’s like or how successful they are at getting rid of them? Also, there are all of these "medi spas" popping up in my area that offer medical procedures in house (botox, chemical peels, etc.). Think it’s worth checking out what’s available there or just go straight to a doctor/ plastic surgeon?

The injection you are talking about is called sclerotherapy…and Its not a good idea to have that on your face as it can actually lead to some scarring depending on your skin pigment
The best treatment for spider veins on your face is IPL (intense pulsed light) therapy. it has shown to be very effective, is non invasive and not too expensive
go to see a dermatologist they do it. you will need a GP referral to get a rebate (if you live in Australia)
i think the best way to get rid of those is actually a laser treatment, i don’t think botox does anything but relax the facial muscles and you have broken blood vessels or veins too close to the surface. laser will fragment them and they will be gone permanently, anything else i don’t believe would work as well.
