hey,it’s pretty cool~~
This type of treatment (endpvenous ablation of greater saphenous reflux) was intended to be done with local anesthesia, and to avoid costs and risks of general anesthesia. Apparently this patient is under general anesthesia!! Unnecessary usage of operating room facility and general anesthesia pushes costs very high! It can be done safely, at office setting, at much lower cost.
why do you thinks its general and why is it in hospital setting. Is it possible that its mac and that stab phlebectomy of this magnitude is not possible under local. let me rip your vein out under local.
I frequently perform microphlebectomy – or ambulatory phlebectomy (yes ripping out the veins) under just a small local injection of anesthesia. THe first writer is correct. General anesthesia is not necessary. I also perform this laser procedure as a local anesthesia where the patient is awake.
This guy talking is killing me….oh my god I hate it…
I have Varicose Veins and I’m seeing the vasular dr on the 18th he does the stripping and another kind I think it has to do with shots, seems like no matter which he chooses will be somewhat painful
I just had this done today and I was awakae but given valium which is plenty. You feel the doctor giving you anesthetic and pressure.
