When properly administered, foam-sclerotherapy is a great new treatment for varicose and unsightly veins. Correct formula (fluid to air ratio) and application (starting from source of the problem first) of foam is not as easy task, and should not be done without proper training, and acquiring extensive experience with liquid sclerotherapy. Patients must use caution in selection of a doctor to treat their varicose and unsightly vein problems. Many physicians claim to do sclerotherapy, while only a fraction of them have the necessary experience and knowledge to do it properly.
