Laser Vein Treatment?

Hey Everyone. I have very noticeable veins in my legs. They aren’t varicose or spider veins. Just recently I noticed that they were very blue and read like a road map! Is there a laser treatment for this?

I have a small cluster of spider veins on my cheek. Most people say they’re not really visible, but they’re affecting my self confidence and I keep covering them up with make-up which I think is making them worse (I have very delicate skin, which reacts to make-up).
I was wondering if anyone has cured (or improved) this problem and could recommend a cream for under £25 that I can buy in the UK.
I would also consider laser treatment, but I’d rather not, and am unsure how much I should expect to pay.
Thanks

I recently went to the doctor to fix my skin. I have, well had, rosacea. My skin is very sensitive and was getting pinkinsh red and spider veins were visible on my face from the littlest pressure applied to it. I would get small spider veins on the side of my nose when I had colds. I had laser treatment on it and it is as if I never had anything wrong with my face. i want to get a nose ring but am afraid of getting spider veins on the side of my nose.I really want a nose piercing but I really don’t want any part of my skin to look like it did before. Can i get one without harming my skin?

Okay so lately I’ve been getting real bad cramps in my left leg.. Today I looked at my calf ( where the cramps are coming from) and I noticed I have real dark purple and blue spider veins running all the way down my calf!! I looked on webmd and they say its hereditary, which doesn’t help me because my parents are gone so…. They also say that "older women" and heavy set women develop them later in age.. Well I’m really thin and not that old?? What can I do?? All it says on the web is to get laser treatment?? OUCH !! I don’t want to sound like a hypocontriact, but it’s summer and I don’t think I want to wear shorts now ever?? Any one know of any lesser ways of dealing w/ this besides laser treatment?? Yuck I’m only 24 help !!!

Do I really have joint hypermobility?

I’ve had joint aches and pains all my life, and was always told they were growing pains. Last year (when I was 21) I asked my doctor about it and she said I might have joint hypermobility because I could press my right thumb down to my wrist, though my flexibility is limited only to my arms and legs and I’m not double-jointed.

She referred me to a physiotherapy who made an attempt to sort out the pain in my knees because that was easiest and then gave up claiming I didn’t really seem to have joint hyper mobility and referred me to a podietrist.

The podietrist has put insoles in my feet and says I do seem to have hypermobility. Not convinced, I went back to my doctor who referred me to a rheumatologist.

Its now been over a year, I went to the rheumatologist who bent my fingers back (which don;t go that far back and it hurt) pulled at me a bit and declared that I was hypermobile. I am now very frustrated and confused because he wanted to refer me back to a physiotherapist who doesn’t believe I have hypermobility.

Other things that are (only possibly) related are pale skin with spider/thread veins. I have serious back pain though my back is not hypermobile. My eyesight was minus 7 but I got laser treatment (twice) to correct it.

When I got upset about it he suggested I might be depressed, referred me to a psychologist, gave me a leaflet about joint hypermobility and told me to live with it. It feels like all people can see is my flexibility which over-shadows a possibly different underlying cause for my pain. The only other ‘solution’ is painkillers but the only stabbing pain I get is momentary, for example when I push open a door or whwn Irun. I’m not going to take painkillers every day just in case.

Is this really joint hypermobility?
