I have a few red "spider veins" around my nose and in my cheek area. I consulted a dermatologic surgeon, who suggested a series of IPL treatments for the problem. I would like to hear from people who have had this treatment. Was it worth the money? Could you see a big difference? Was it painful? How many treatments did you need before you were satisfied with the results? Thanks so much!

I have tiny spider veins on my face? They arent too noticable because they are on the crease of where my nose meets my cheek, but they are gross to me! I cant go get dermetology treatment, im 14 and I need a solution to reduce and prevent them, please help me!

I’m 15 and notice some spider veins on my lower legs. My grandma has alot on her legs and my mom has a fair amount but not alot. I just wanted to know if i’m too young to get some cream or something done to get rid of them. I know mine are lite in color in some parts but some are darker but not noticable. I just don’t want to let them go. So, whats your advic and any recamendations for treatments? Please. I dont want my legs to look ugly. Thank You

I have horrible spider veins on my upper thigh that seem to have gotten progressively worse over the years… but I’m only 21!

Is there anything I can do to prevent this from worsening, and are there other treatments besides laser surgery?

I’m a mother of 4, and through out my pregnancies, I’ve gotten more and more spider veins on my upper thighs. I’m thinking about having them treated.

I was wondering if you have gone through treatment, could you please answer some questions I have?

Was it painful? Did you notice a difference? How long did it take to notice a difference? Was it expensive? How many times did you need to be treated? In the end, was it worth it?

Looking at some of the web-sites for the clinics in my area have testimonials, they all sound great – but you never know if someone is making them up or not. I thought I would probably get more "real" answers from all of you.

I’ve had spider veins on my legs since I was probably 15 and the veins on my legs have been getting worse since then. It looks like I’m getting varicose veins. My legs hurt from bad circulation fairly often. It is just painful somedays, like today — I just took an aspirin hoping that will help.
I used to work out 3 days a week at least and try to eat healthy so they don’t hurt. The strengthening exercises helped drastically, but I haven’t been able to find time to lift and do cardio as much since I went away to school with the way my schedule goes.
I’ve also started on birth control pills last fall because my cramps are absolutely horrible. I feel great with the Yaz right now, but I know that the higher estrogen levels can worsen it.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Has anyone had this similar of a problem at such a young age? Does insurance cover any treatment of them??

What is the best compression stocking on the market for varicose vein and cellulite reduction?

I am not sure which one to buy because I have searched on the internet and found two different ones that seem like they might work. One from UK by John Lewis, and one from Italy by Solidea. I don’t just have cellulite, but also varicose veins behind my knees and spider veins on my calves and feet. I am a 29 yr/old female at the proper weight for my height. I have tried weight lifting, cardio, spa suits and still have these ailments. I know it may be hereditary, but I really would like to be able to wear shorts this summer. I developed this problem after having a still birth 10 years ago and haven’t been able to afford any medical treatment so I was hoping someone might know if these compression stockings would help? I would prefer and appreciate advice from someone who has tried these types of products or has patients that had success with them. Thank you!
